Didn't Allar's back-up transfer? If so, then whom will PSU have at QB next year if Allar leaves?

Re: 2025 Schedule is tough!
I’ve actually thought it’s a fairly easy path for us to make the playoffs again. In fact I’ve seen Husky and SC fans complaining we got an easy schedule.nogerO wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 1:18 pm https://fbschedules.com/2025-oregon-football-schedule/
That's a pretty difficult schedule. Away games Penn St, Rutgers, Northwestern, Iowa, FUSKIES. Montana State is going to be a challenge as well. Don't know what has happened to Oklahoma State. Minnesota, Idiana, USC are tough home games too. I hope we can win 9-10.
9-3? If we go 9-3 Lanning seat should start to warm. Minnesota isn’t great, and Iowa? Losing to Iowa would set the program backs years. They have a D, and that’s it.
As for worry about Donte Moore. My biggest worry is he’s so good he leaves after 1 year of starting.

We were Idaho, Boise, and Wisconsin aware from going 9-3 this year. I don't think 9-3 is out of the question. One or two plays don't quite go our way, and we lose a few games this year.buckmarkduck wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 8:27 amI’ve actually thought it’s a fairly easy path for us to make the playoffs again. Minnesota is no slouch, they’re finally getting better and PJ Fleck seems to finally be figuring thing out. However we will see eventually if they just beat bad teams or if they’re a real threat.
As long as Iowa keeps Ferentz they are going to get worse and worse, that would be a fairly bad loss for Oregon.

Re: 2025 Schedule is tough!
This isn’t serious. Idaho never threatened at all. Boise only stayed in the game because Herbert had an unforced fumble, as we were driving to to a 3 drove lead. Once we benched Pickard, they had no answer for stopping our O. Only the Wisconsin game was a threat, and I’m not sure if it wasn’t because Gabriel played his worse game of the year. Lucky our D played their best game of the year. But if DG hits Stew in stride in the first quarter, we win 31-13UOducksTK1 wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 10:33 amWe were Idaho, Boise, and Wisconsin aware from going 9-3 this year. If you had said we could have lost too Ohio st and Penn st, I’d agree. But the other 3, I never felt in danger, regardless of the game. Even Penn St, we scored 45 with Stewart throwing up half the game, and not really doing anything other than being a decoy.

To be 17-14 against Idaho with 6 minutes left in the game, it felt like a loss to me.buckmarkduck wrote: Wed Jan 08, 2025 4:41 pmThis isn’t serious. Idaho never threatened at all. Boise had a 79% chance of winning in the 4th quarter with 10 minutes left going up by a touchdown. If it weren't for some special special teams plays, you might be singing a different tune.
So yeah my point of going 9-3 next year with a QB who will probably be a step down from DG is not as farfetched as some believe.

Is Montana St even going to be able to field a team at this rate!

Indiana might be good again. Glad we get them in Autzen.
@Rutgers will be interesting. They will be terrible, so if the team struggles, it would point towards longer travel having a significant impact on the outcome of games.

Good thing we can afford some losses and still get into the 12 team playoffs because PSU looks like the toughest regular season game we've had in years.

Doubt that. We were lucky not to be 11-3 this year.

We're so far past the goal being to just have a good/great season.
If we go 9-3 next year and fail to make the Playoffs, Stein or Tosh are getting fired for that crap.

Pretty sure you weren't a Duck fan when Dan Fouts was playing. You're spoiled and overconfident. Don't get me wrong, I want the Ducks to go undefeated next year and hope they do but my football spidey sense says 9-10 wins. Guess we'll see...Duck07 wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2025 8:43 amWe're so far past the goal being to just have a good/great season.
