I am not arguing that Oregon should be champion, but it's pretty crazy to be in 3rd after the season the Ducks had.
Absolutely. Ohio State has a split with Oregon, and a convincing win, in a playoff format that ended up benefitting Ohio State for losing to Oregon and Michigan & not being the B1G Champion, so Ohio State won the championship. But Oregon's resume' beats everybody else's, particularly Notre Dame's, a L to N. Illinois, and who started their Playoff run with an Indiana team with a laughable SOS, then a Georgia w/o its starting QB.

Get Chip out of here, give him a contract to leave the B1G

I don’t see it. He wanted to coach with Day. Things are good in CK Land right now, and he seems done chasing fame/$$$. Unless Day is considering an NFL jump, too, I don’t see Kelly leaving.

It's just my luck that my team for multiple years is competitive with the national champion but doesn't get the chance to play because of some crack in the resume, and then the one year the resume is far and away better than everyone else, they have to play a 2-loss team they already beat in the playoffs and get rolled after not playing for a month.

And they lost their D coordinator, Jim Knowles to Penn State today so maybe all is not good in Buckeye land

Ohio State’s roster next year won’t be near as good as the roster they just had. If there is a time to ditch Ohio State, it’s now. They put EVERYTHING into winning a natty this year and they still needed BS luck and a BS playoff model to win it all.

They won the CFP and Oregon won the regular season. Co-champs according to the selectors.

If the playoffs were done right, Oregon and Ohio State wouldn't have met until the championship game. They really need to fix how this BS "System" of theirs SUCKS! I know they will change it and it will be interesting to plug the teams from this year into the new system and see what might have been. Still pissed.

Here’s to hoping it ages terribly.
