She's given them some nice innings in relief. Offense can't give Stanford any easy outs by making baserunning errors.StevensTechU wrote: Sun May 18, 2025 8:50 pm I love that Chambers went right after the woman who has 2 HRs and all of Stanford's RBIs. No fear, stayed in her game, got the ground out. Bottom of 5 and still down two runs.

Yet another big moment. Oregon player appears to be out on an over-aggressive baserunning decision, but instead an illegal block of the plate gives Oregon a run. 7-6, 'Furd. Oregon with one* out and a runner in scoring position in the fifth.

So many long reviews in this game. Oregon gets lucky here as there's been a couple near misses in their baserunning this inning.

Knocked the starter out. Let's hope we can capitalize.

s***. So hard to get a double play in softball, but ground balls right to second base will do it. Two innings to go, down 1.

The way Oregon was tagging her, I was hoping the Stanford coach would keep her in.

What a backhanded snag in the hole by Sinicki and an equally impressive throw to 1B.

The size of a damn softball, especially relative to most women's hands, you'd think throwing errors would happen all the time. That was a hell of a play by Sinicki.greenyellow wrote: Sun May 18, 2025 9:20 pm What a backhanded snag in the hole by Sinicki and an equally impressive throw to 1B.

Oregon always seems to have great SS and infielders under Lombardi.StevensTechU wrote: Sun May 18, 2025 9:24 pmThe size of a damn softball, especially relative to most women's hands, you'd think throwing errors would happen all the time. I love how much the crowd has filled out over the course of the game. In the second or third inning, one of the announcers commented about it being a sold out house and I rolled my eyes because there was perhaps a majority of seats clearly empty. It looks like word got around campus that this was a close game and people have started making their way to the ballpark, because it looks a lot more full and it's a lot louder. Hope it helps momentum.

Part of me wonders if that crowd almost put too much pressure on the two batters after that leadoff triple. They didn’t seem relaxed at all on the plate.StevensTechU wrote:I love how much the crowd has filled out over the course of the game.
