Evan Stewart season-ending injury rumor?

Looks like there are rumors going around Evan Stewart tore his patellar tendon and will miss the season. Hard to verify it since no sources besides one has confirmed it. Hopefully this isn't true.

The skepticism is that there's been no other journalist or new outlet who's confirmed it yet, not even the typical Oregon insiders and local writers who are usually quick to post about a story potentially this big.

Any other site that mentions it just refers to the CFH Twitter post. While it's entirely possible that this is true, I have seen multiple times where CFH just posts random stuff that ends up not being true. They're one of those sites that says something off the wall just so they can say they're the ones that mentioned it first. In fact, I'm not even sure they actually have a website

In years of following this stuff, if you don't see a denial, the smoke starts to turn into fire, so I'd be a little concerned if Stewart hasn't denied it by tomorrow.

I see lots of duck fans claiming this, but I don’t understand it. What is “typical duck luck?” Literally every team loses players, every year. EStew, while having tons of potential, has never put it all together. And he averaged 4 touches a game. I think he can be replaced.

Now if LB and OL start dropping, maybe luck isn’t on our side.
