I see we're moving the goal posts. I just informed you that you were wrong about viewership, so I'm not sure what your argument is now. If a team in a weaker conference, with an even worse tv deal, going against lesser opponents can get more viewers than Hawai'i. I think they'll do just fine in a new pac12 with new money, and a better tv deal, on top of the money they're already pushing into the program.
Edit*: If you would like to polish a turd because think it's a hit as long as a school has "Texas" in the name, knock yourself out.
Regardless of the Texas name, that turd was already more shiny before they were even invited to the Pac12

No way is adding a bunch of no names, is better than just joking the MWC. Os and WSU are making a dumb decision imho.

All but one of those no names that are leaving the mwc landed in the upper half of their viewership, including the top 3 (CSU, BSU, and Fresno State). Could the pac12 end up just being another remake of the Mountain West, just with a few different colleges? Absolutely, but at worst they're out nothing if they're able to keep the Pac12 alive, and they end up with a similar tv deal as the MWC. At best, they get enough people curious, they manage to pull Cal and Stanford back in in the future, and they are the best G5 conference with an even better tv deal. Either way, it's worth it to them to try and keep the conference going

Cal and Furd would fold before joining those turds!

You're probably right, but after a few years of traveling across the country for every sport, they might decide differently.

Academics alone will keep them separated. It's a no brainer.
