Hyth does have valid points I never meant to deny that, and historically his analysis is accurate, but that doesn’t mean it’s right 100% of the time. If we see some OLine struggles, especially early, I won’t be surprised. I still think Oregon needs to drastically improve OLine recruiting ASAP to win a natty (thanks Klemm) but I won’t go as far as to say an FCS DLine will give this OLine everything they can handle, that’s extreme. I know Idaho did last year but that to me was more because Terry wasn’t being smart and tried moving guys around to find an excuse to start Pickard. If he kept Poncho at C and Harper at RG and put Strother at LG to start the season ducks beat Idaho by 4 scores and Boise State by 2 scores.

Looks like Oregon will be without Gresham and Ressler at WR along with Dorian Brew and Theran Johnson at DB. LB rotation may be a little short (likely only Boettcher, Jackson, Mothudi, and Mixon) if both Platt and Williams can't go.

Bummer, injuries suck. Hopefully they aren’t serious injuries.

Jeez injuries are already brutal. LB is now a concern. Will probably see a lot of nickle.

Oregon already plays a lot of nickel since their base is a 4-2-5 but really thought they may not play it as much with Montana State being a run-heavy team. We may even see them play Gavin Nix (who many said had a great fall camp) if both Platt and Williams can't go.wepto wrote: Sat Aug 30, 2025 11:22 am Jeez injuries are already brutal. I don't have BTN, what's a good streaming site to use? The search engines seem to have banned the good sites.

Would normally suggest thetvapp.to but it's having a large volume of connections so I have to likely find an alternative.ld2001 wrote: Sat Aug 30, 2025 11:47 am I don't have BTN, what's a good streaming site to use? The search engines seem to have banned the good sites.

Platt and Williams not dressed so Mixon, Mothudi, and Nix will get a few more reps today.

Crepea is not even well liked by his media peers. That should tell you a lot.

Oregon looks like they'll be starting 2 FR at CB today, with 3 FR in the top 4 CBs. Kind of surprised Florence didn't make the 2-deep but they could still be bringing him along slowly after his knee injury.
