Dan is such a REAL dude. I do enjoy his awareness that fans would like to see the human side of coaches and admission that he enjoys pop culture and his willingness to share things in interviews about movies, food and music. Every coach we've had has hobbies. 90% of their lives is football, but they are still human.
I think Taggart and Helf are the only two that really didn't ever delve that much into the personal side of things. Probably because they were wildly boring.
Mario would talk about MMA & rock music to certain reporters, Chip talked about movies and travel & Bellotti talked about golf and being a dad.
