Is there any website to rewatch the game? I wont be able to watch the game, as i’ll still be flying over the pacific for a business trip. I was hoping for a later kickoff.

Getting more excited for this game!

This didn't really show two weeks ago because of the rain, but since the Indiana loss it does seem that Will Stein is trying to attack more than he used to. He's ran out those scripted first-half plays (which failed against Wisconsin) and seems more determined to push the ball down field. He tried a lot in the first half against Wisconsin before committing to the run and ramming it down their throats. But I have a feeling the attacking will resume against Iowa.

Iowa has a great D, but ours is also excellent and weirdly underrated. Part of it might be Penn State's collapse, but I'm convinced they only collapsed because of how we beat them and how physical that game was (especially by our defense). And, offensively, our potential is unmatched. I don't think we're going to put up 60 on Iowa, but we're due for a solid offensive showing against a good team. I think the final will be something like 31-20 Oregon.

I am not a student of the X-O's like many on here, but I have said it before and I will say it again regarding these "weather + physical opponent" types of games:

- Wisconsin is a physical, well coached defense (they held tOSU under 100 yards of rushing)
- The weather was awful and Wiscy knew we were going to run in the 2nd half
- We had a backup QB in and that further tipped our hand we were going to run
- Coach Fickell said "they mad an adjustment that we had no answers for"
- Coach Lanning said "we found an adjustment that started working in the running game"

Neither of those two seemed like they wanted to really expound and give away what this magical, "double-secret" adjustment was.

I wanted to find out and when analysts like Schwartz, etc. reviewed the all-22's they came back to social media with the secret sauce:

The "secret sauce" was Oregon abandoning zone blocking concepts and just going hat-on-hat, man-on-man, man-combo.

If an above-average, physical & sound defense knows you are doing the most basic concept in football and they still can't stop it, that bodes well for for us where we get into situations where it is going to have to be physical on physical.

Plus, are you going to load the box and bring extra numbers when you know that leaves Sadiq, Moore and Benson potentially in one-on-one coverage?

It seems like the recipe to jam up our offense is to have a little luck with early gambling. To wit:

- sell out early to hit Dante - get into his head and get him with happy feet
- shoot the gaps early and pray Stein has scripted zone-blocking plays
- when you bring pass pressure limit it to 6 and hope your 'backer can blow up Noah, Hill or Davison...while 4 of your back-end hold up long enough...and the 5th hat has been rolled into the proper help area based on the coverage call.

Oregon players are now hearing about how they don't belong in the Top 10 of the CFPB, that they need to be on alert at Kinnick, that they haven't played anybody as physical as Iowa, etc., etc. etc.

Let me ask you all a question...the last time Oregon had to sit around hearing about how physical and nasty their upcoming opponent was, what happened?

I suspect we see a motivated group of dudes on Saturday afternoon.

Again, if I take the L I will own it afterwards.

Seems like every new forecast for Saturday has it a little cooler and a little wetter in Iowa City than the one before. But given that the Ducks just had to deal with a lot of wetness in a game, maybe they'll be just as or even more prepared than Iowa.

Iowa fans and media are weirdly confident, almost cocky about this game. It’s a head scratcher that they all seem to think, from everything I’ve read, that this is a pre-ordained win, based on the transitive property of sports… i.e. they gave IU a good game and blew out Wiscy, so clearly they are better than Oregon.

I imagine Dan is piling all this wood into the fire.
