Only thing I can think of is that the guys that were supposed to ref this game had their flights canceled with the air traffic controller shortage and the only way the game could be played without being canceled or postponed was to use refs that live in Iowa. Otherwise, this makes absolutely no sense.

It also seems odd that the most blatant one sided officiating seems to start once Oregon has a lead greater than 6 1/2…..

I love how they show Jones hugging Boettcher out of the play, but announcers talking about how two players are not going to quit…but if Oregon would have done anything close it would have been a foul.
