Where is that punk BrewHawk?

Post by bdkipe »

Y’all even had the officials on your side tonight and you still couldn’t win. Lolololol

Your “physical” D got gashed for 260 yards rushing

Your dominant Oline was holding all night and only pounded out 101 rushing yards (I realize that’s sack-adjusted)

Speaking of sacks, the sack of this entire board is on your chin you $h!t talking punk.

Being fat, white, slow and surrendering under 300 yards a game because your offense hasn’t escaped the 1920’s and holds onto the ball for 36 minutes a game doesn’t make you “physical”. It simply means other offenses don’t have the time to exploit your lack of athleticism.

There is a reason why your DC favors zone coverage vs man.

Dude, chill. I didn't see BrewHawk talking any s***. Just a passionate fan sharing his thoughts about his team. Give him props for even coming to an Oregon board.

I'm going with 7. He's had enough to go off, but his spelling is still up to snuff.

Yeah that seems about right. Slow your roll bud and stay with us. Go Ducks!

I think the Iowa fan was doing a little talking, but that doesn't make him a punk. He supports his team, and it sounds like maybe the way that game was officiated was par for the course for them. It's really the officials that drew my ire. I don't know if they actually had money on the game, or maybe they were carrying out orders from the Big Ten or the media - I just can't see how all those calls could go that way with there not being some kind of agenda behind it. Even the overturned calls were done with extreme reluctance. They clearly did not want to call an objective game.

I’m stone sober boys. Since 06/12/2021. I was likely a little hot about the officiating.

He ran his mouth. He should have come on here and been humble.

He and Herbstreit eating piles and piles of crow tonight.

I don't see Coach Lanning saying much about officials usually, but even he alluded to several questions that he had in the postgame presser. I'm thankful that these refs were not able to de-rail Oregon's playoff hopes.

BrewHawk was a little smug in how he talked about Oregon, I felt like he was very dismissive of how physical Oregon was and I called him out on that. But overall, he was ok, we’ve had far worse opposing fans come on here. I’d take BrewHawk over the North Dakota State fans that came over here any day.

Brewhawk probably icing his arm down because he was one of the classy Iowa fans tossing beer cans at our players after the game. It was said by several former players and commentators that Iowa is low-key hostile. Great idea and tradition to wave to the hospital and they should be given love and flowers for coming up with that idea. But I have heard it said many times that after the Hospital Wave it becomes a nasty nightmare of $h!t talk for the final 3 quarters, and their fans are literally right on top of you, even moreso than Autzen. The video of Iowa fans throwing beer cans and litter at our players was a bad look. We've had opposing players celebrate at Autzen in the last 20 years and as nasty and borderline as some of us can get, I can't remember hearing about us throwing things at opposing players. Only time I ever was een tempted to throw anything was after the 2012 Stanford game at the official that ruled Ertz had control in the endzone.

You would have had to find the booth official for that. Refs on the field ruled it incomplete.

Correct. I still remember how silent it was after the final horn. If only Clay would have gotten that fumble, Sigh...such is the life of a Duck fan.

Just saying I doubt the replay officials come down to the field after the game for that very reason. I imagine if there are any controversial replays they hide out until the crowd leaves.

Often forgotten in the game was the play before the Ertz catch it is 4th and 1 for Stanford and their RT Flemming false starts, and it isn't called (he leaves before the snap and even Herbstreit and Musburger catch it in the broadcast). 4th and 1 should have been 4th and 6 from the Oregon 16 (and maybe the Ertz play never even happens).

Well now I’m on the ground huddled up in a ball softly sobbing and shaking with PTSD. Worst feeling I’ve ever had at Autzen.
