Playing out like a typical game: defense doing its job and offense is moving the ball but not finishing drives or getting points. Defense will tire and TTU will eventually start moving the ball. Offense has to get some TDs.

Wide open right side and he runs!

That 3rd down was frustrating. Everyone on the planet knew exactly what kind of D TT plays, and we still can't find a single open receiver? Are the sacks getting to Moore?

Their defense is going to get tired faster I think.dthomas=ddixon wrote:Playing out like a typical game: defense doing its job and offense is moving the ball but not finishing drives or getting points. Defense will tire and TTU will eventually start moving the ball. Offense has to get some TDs.

Total yards:
104 to -2
And we have a 3 point lead.

Moore getting hit is going to wear on him or get him hurt. Then what? Thomas?

Probably. Unfortunately as great as Moore is he has two issues, consistency and overreacting to sacks. I’m getting worried cause it’s clear our OLine cannot hold their own and Dante is not the type of QB that handles sacks/pressures well.QuackininBama wrote:That 3rd down was frustrating. Maybe but our defense has been consistent in its late game collapses.chapelhillduck wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 10:44 amTheir defense is going to get tired faster I think.dthomas=ddixon wrote:Playing out like a typical game: defense doing its job and offense is moving the ball but not finishing drives or getting points. And I notice they are falling back into rushing only four, and yes, they are getting to Moore anyway.

Nice to see our board is in peak form at the start of the New Year. What we’ve learned:
- Our Joe Moore line that has fared incredibly well against some stout and nasty Dlines is garbage
- Will Stein is garbage
Anyone seeing any positives? I think there are quite a few.

^^ not garbage. The O is clicking but not scoring. THe O line needs to adjust. The D is killing it. We are ahead in every category except protecting Moore. TT is an awesome team.
