All I will say is once Altman moves on and we have to sweat coaches constantly leaving for greener pastures, I hope we remember when a large portion of the fan base was eager to push out the hall of fame coach at the first sign of adversity. Loyalty is a 2 way street, so if we don't want to show it to the guy who brought the program to levels it's never been at before, then don't expect future coaches to show any loyalty back. The way the portal is now, I don't see having everyone leave as a death knell for next season. Every year is essentially a new roster anyway. If anything, it gives a chance for a complete reset with a new roster. I wonder if they'll adapt based on prior years. I think a problem with the past few years is they've shot for the moon in the portal without the NIL to back it up, so once the big dogs swoop in, they just outspend the Ducks. But by the time they've lost that battle, the next tier of guys have already committed elsewhere. I think they may just need to ditch the Tier 1 portal prospects and start recruiting from that 2nd Tier. Give up the dream of being able to bring in elite prospects, because it's not happening with their current budget.

Would be amazing to have someone like him, but man I'd have a hard time seeing guys like him not getting big $$$ from bigger programs.

Oregon should have plenty of money to spend now that Shelstad, Bittle, and Evans are gone.

While not much of a shooter, it can't hurt add an athletic defender like Seven Spurlock.

Someone who had visited in Oregon when in HS. I'd imagine Ducks would pursue this one.

https://ramblinwreck.com/roster/baye-ndongo-2/, he's in the portal also, I'd take both and be happy.

I hope we go after Ace Glass too. I've seen him play at Wazzu multiple times, and he's kinda like Ex-Beavs Jordan Pope.

Man, I really hope there is some sliver of a chance that we can land enough talent out of the portal to get shelstad to come back.

Pryor and Frakes aren't unexpected at this point as it seems Altman has basically told everyone they should go find a new home. Still waiting to see it confirmed that Wei Lin has headed back to China and Phillips will be in the portal soon. That'll leave the remaining question marks as Vatan and Demir.

According to 247, Jackson Shelstad is the 8th best transfer and Kwame Evans is the 25th best transfer.

And I imagine there's still a few top dogs that haven't declared yet.

I feel like there's a good chance we land a top 15 guy and a top 30 guy with basically all our NIL funds available. I'm actually pretty hopeful that our roster on paper will look a lot better post transfer than pre transfer. Hope I'm right lol..
