This team is hard to watch. Our hitting does plenty enough for us to be up 2-0 in this series but likely will be playing for the series winner tomorrow.

Nebraska is a good team though as they've shown they can put up runs on anyone. But Oregon's pitching has been struggling the past couple weeks since the UCSB series.UOducksTK1 wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 2:47 pm This team is hard to watch. Mabeus drives in Molony with an RBI double and it's now 10-8 Nebraska.

Lauaki and Brooks strike out to end the game and Oregon drops game 2 10-8.

Anytime Oregon faces a quality opponent this happens, and it’s been this way for four years. I’m honestly impressed Wasikowski is still able to persuade such good hitters to come to Oregon, why come to a team where you can hit multiple home runs and doubles yet still lose cause the pitching staff continually has no control?greenyellow wrote:Nebraska is a good team though as they've shown they can put up runs on anyone. Game is tied at 4 in the 6th inning as Angel Laya has hit his 2nd HR of the game and Mabeus drives in Molony with a double to the LF corner. A bit of concern is Scolari exited the 4th inning with some type of injury.

After Mabeus is caught in a rundown between 3B and home on Lauaki's infield FC, Jack Brooks drives in Lauaki to give Oregon a 5-4 lead.

Oregon takes the series with a 5-4 Game 3 win as the Ducks' bullpen holds Nebraska scoreless for the final 6 innings.

Grinder win. And yes, hats off to bullpen for bailing out a bad outing by Scolari.
It's weird we won this series, because it felt like we were playing from behind a lot. But we'll take it!

Hopefully Scolari is ok. Can’t afford to lose a starter.
