Lanning now has a short leash. As long as he replaces the offensive staff we should give him forgiveness but if he has another season like this, time to move on from him.

Anything less than the entire offensive staff and I'm against Lanning getting another year.
There's a difference between taking accountability and saying you're going to take accountability.
He's the one who chose to hire a 30 year old QB coach with zero experience.

Well, this decision tells us where the money is on the game. Oregon already had a call go against them, in this game with the same deal.
Naaa that was a touchdown. Period. It wouldn't even be an issue if Oregon could score, or........get a first down.........or, at least try to throw the ball past the 1st down marker and not 5 yards short on 3rd down?
That misses the point. The point is that they were the exact same type of catch, both ruled catches on the field, and the booth ruled in the opposite direction for each of them. That’s the problem.

That’s a pretty lazy take. Our defense has been subpar all on their own today. If they’re tired it’s because they can’t stop the run all the way down the field. It’s on them. They can’t get off the field.

They’re just gonna work even harder. No one on the offensive staff is going to leave the facility, eat, or even sleep. That’s how serious they are about fixing things. Tripling down on incompetence is what really smart people do.
Yeah, because we can’t stop the run. It’s like saying our offense would be good if the D could get off the field. It’s simply a piss poor efforts from the whole team.

FG!? why?
Because they needed a FG, TD, and 2-point conversion to tie it. Hurych just couldn't hit today from over 40 yards, which made Lanning's strategy too risky.
