Hampton is getting spanked by Chip.

WTF is this defense called? Leave EVERY offense player wide open and tackle them after they catch the ball?

If you can’t stop the rush on offense and you can’t generate the rush on defense, everyone looks bad.QuackininBama wrote:WTF is this defense called? Leave EVERY offense player wide open and tackle them after they catch the ball?

Chiles is going to be 40/46 for 550 yards 4 touchdowns at the end of this game. We are stopping NOTHING

What is with the duck defenders tripping on their own feet, Finney had one where the receiver missed but then 11 just tripped over his own feet also. Ducks looks confused and clumsy.

The defense has been undisciplined all season. They watch the QB’s eyes rather than their assignment, they abandon their assigned gap to try and make a “big play”. I’m not giving up on Hampton but the defense has gotten away with some selfish and undisciplined play and just like in past years there is some awful self scouting to identify these issues and correct them.

It doesn’t feel like the 2002 Seattle bowl year yet…but it’s getting close

lol this is embarrassing. One of the worst coached teams in the B1G.

A tired defense isn’t an excuse today. These are not Power 5 coordinators.OregonFan4Life wrote:lol this is embarrassing. One of the worst coached teams in the B1G.

What do we need to see changed before next year, before we say fire Lanning? He needs to get rid of everybody on the staff. Woefully under talented and under experienced.

I’ve given up on him. Another game where the D schemed terribly. Chip is great, but this is ridiculous. Doesn’t look like the D has quit on them, just poor preparation, a recurring theme on both sides of the ball.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 1:43 pm The defense has been undisciplined all season. We just need two good coordinator hires. We’ve seen that most of our position coaches are capable in good schemes.ld2001 wrote:What do we need to see changed before next year, before we say fire Lanning? He needs to get rid of everybody on the staff. Woefully under talented and under experienced.

That is game, you all know after watching Kelly coach here, halftime is where he makes his adjustments and puts his foot on the gas. Oregon has proven that this year they have no idea what a halftime adjustment is.

Getting close to the point where you have to worry about the team quitting.

Even as bad as this game looks, at least is there is offensive production. Better that the Meh-ss we had before.
