I don't have one myself, but I don't do a lot of out-of-the-area road traveling either. They have become quite affordable though.
Garmin is the best. We have a hand held because we use it doing water nav as well on our sailboat. Sweet machine.

No, but it beeps ALOT!! My Blackberry has voice directions. That's pretty cool too.

That's a pretty good walk.

I usually park off Chevy Chase for free and walk. 8-)

We park at the Masonic Temple and have a RV parking spot. We come in Friday night and leave
Sunday. Is the season here yet??????? Oh by the way $1000 a year.
