I wonder if the new helmets will be available immediately

These uniforms are great. They will look awesome on the field.

I like the green/white, the rest can go. The carbon fiber lid looks gaudy. May take awhile to find some appreciation. It is going to suck defending them for the first few weeks when I don't even fully like them.

I just got accustom to the old/new jerseys. What happened to green, yellow, and white.

I'm loving that new helmet.

The only criticism I have is that I think the wings could have been stylized further. I brought this up when they first came out last year. The area where the feathers join just seems kind of arbitrary and messy. They could have made a more consistent and stylized pattern in that area, imo.

Not that it affects me. But, I like that they made all the functional improvements. I remember the pads-in-pockets system being a pain with pads slipping around, etc. The sewn in version Nike made sounds way better.

The whole team lined up with those new helmets is going to look great.

I read somewhere that the wings didn't hold up as well, so I don't think they'll return. It is always exciting to start out fresh. New coaches, new unis. I'm sure they'll be kickass.

So true!! It's good to see the wings come back and it looks like they tweaked them a little bit. I like the new unis - especially the grey helmet. Sweet! I don't think some of the pics do it justice. It's going to look sharp against the sun or lights at night.

Okay mark me sold, those frickin helmets are the SHIZZ!! I now like the steel unis too. They are all legit, and let's keep in mind your target is an 17 year old high school kid. They will eat that up!!!

There is a pic of the new steel helmet almost at the end of the slideshow where TJ is wearing it. Absolutely awesome!!! They look so hot. Even the strap has the metal design on it. I bet they wear the steel unis to the Boise State game. Just a feeling.

Already making headlines!

When I first saw the fuzzy photos at work, I was highly dissapointed. Especially with the dropping of the yellow pants and helmet. But after seeing the good photos and video, I like them a bit more. And the steel helmet up close looks way better than I thought it was. I still don't like the "steel" (gray) pants that much, But I'm sure it will grow on me like everything else. I would like to see more with the pants though. I liked the "Oregon" down the side.

After seeing them in video form instead of still photos taken from video, I'm starting to like the steel look. I now don't mind the names not being readable since I already know who most of the players are. I still want to see yellow pants since they look good with most of the jerseys. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to get yellow pants since the pants are fairly plain and wouldn't take much time to create. I still wish the yellow jerseys had more green than black on them, but they still look good.

I can't wait to see the steel pants, jersey and helmet against Boise State, hopefully merchandise comes out soon so we can deck the visitor's section out in STEEL! I think it is cool that the center stripe on the helmets say "Go Hard, Go Oregon, Go Ducks" from what can be seen!

Love that they canned the yellow pants and lid as well as the diamond plates. Hate everything about the gray unis (at least have ONE of our colors). All in all I give this group of unis a C+ just because they even have the gray and the yellow seems a bit brighter than the last yellow jersey (may just be me though). I liked the other white jersey and the black jersey though. Green was so-so (seemed a tad more dull than the last one).
