Helf was totally riding the success of Chip Kelly. Taggart took over WKU team that went 2-22 the last two seasons before he took over. And South Florida went 3-9 the season before Taggart took over.
Helf took a team that went 36-4 the four seasons before he took over. And managed to make Oregon into a 13-12 team the last two seasons.
Gotta take the numbers within context.
