Re: Kelee Ringo
I think the young man worked his tail off to get to this point. I say let him have some fun. As a fan who keeps tabs on recruiting, I’d love for the recruits to take a straight forward approach as the Sewell family has shown. I think the best approach for those having a hard time with the drama would be to sign off until the second signing period is over. This program is in great hands with coach MC at the helm and I’m sure he and his staff will develop these young men to their fullest potential whoever that may be. Ringo is a beast though and his ceiling is much higher than most.

A couple of things here. I'm not a fan of the trolling and attention seeking behavior either, but I also understand these are just kids; not men, kids. I also know that I wasn't a saint at that age either, so let them do what they do, and hopefully they mature out of it.
The other thing, this is a public forum. Let's not forget that it's entirely possible for the kids and their parents to run across these posts.

If Ringo’s mom sees this she should send me a message.squintsdd wrote:A couple of things here. X2, she s probably the hottest recruiting targets mom i’ve seen. She might have had him very eqrly or the ageing process has been very favorable to her.GoDucksTroll wrote:If Ringo’s mom sees this she should send me a message.squintsdd wrote:A couple of things here. West Coast schools need to step their games up. There's really no reason that all these kids should be leaving the area for schools back East.

West Coast schools (see PAC12), need to get their butts into the college playoffs more than once every five years. That would be a good start.greenyellow wrote:West Coast schools need to step their games up. There's really no reason that all these kids should be leaving the area for schools back East.

So, Miss St hired Mike Leech in part due to social media impact. In case anyone had any doubt why recruits like to play games on social media--it clearly improves career opportunities in football.

Other than that they both involve the internet, I am having trouble seeing the link you are trying to make between a player trolling fans of other teams and a coach being hired in part based on using social media as a focus group. Did Mike Leach tweet his way into the MSU job or something? Is he even on social media?wepto wrote:https://old.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/e ... andidates/

I guess I was wrong in assuming that everybody was on /r/cfb at this point. But yeah, Leach is meme coach. Long story short, he is, by far and away the most popular coach on social media. People go nuts for the weird rants he goes on. And repeat stuff like the 'fat little girlfriends' line over and over. It's not even really positive towards Leach. That thread is full of people making fun of MSU for using social media as a hiring criteria. But according to the tweet, MSU did exactly that.Phalanx wrote:Other than that they both involve the internet, I am having trouble seeing the link you are trying to make between a player trolling fans of other teams and a coach being hired in part based on using social media as a focus group.
