You guys are a lot more confident in Matayo than I am. I think he's an SC lean at the moment. I could be wrong, and the Ducks are certainly in the top 2, but just my gut feeling off updates that I've read.

Media loves USC, they’re supposed to win the PAC-12 every year. I’ve been confident since his Fr year he was gonna be a star at Oregon, I’ve been far more confident in him than I ever was in DJ. I’m sure he’s considering USC and they have a chance but he’s been an Oregon fan, his dad loves Oregon, and Oregon has a far superior defensive coaching staff compared to USC. He’s a smart kid in a smart family, I’m confident he’ll be a duck.

I've been skimming through different college football previews and most favor Utah to win again. One has USC and another has Oregon, but the Utes seem to be the media favs. Utah, Oregon and USC are the top three in most.

I'm perfectly happy getting #2, especially considering he very likely could be #1 without a Manning name sitting out there.

Only one I can think of in recent years is Kirk Cousins and he last played there in 2011.

Dante Moore is a pro style quarterback. He has adequate athleticism so he can fit into either system, but he wouldn't be a fish out of water in MSU's system.

Connor Cook was pretty good for Michigan State. Got drafted in the 4th round.
