What kind of offense was that after the Stewart catch?

11 points we've given them. At minimum it should be 10-0.

Stein is perpetually trying to prove to the world that he’s a genius. So tired of his play calling.

I don’t understand Stein sometimes. We had momentum and were moving the ball, why decide to get all tricky and cute there? Trust your players.

So we decided late week Sapp wasn't going to kick the long field goals, then we bring him in, and he misses it. Really?

Yikes just picking on Burch’s absence. But right now I’m FURIOUS at Stein for throwing away momentum.

Listen, I will say this now, Ohio State isn't all that guys. They are not this monster everyone is hyping them to be. They are totally beatable. We got this.

If we lose because they run all over our asses, a major component of it will be that they have an offensive scheme/identity while we run plays. That's exactly what that 3rd down call was, a play on a chalkboard that has nothing to do with your "scheme" and trying to use your actual offense to attack their weaknesses. It's the type of play call that mid-majors have to use to notch and upset or stay in a game, which may be where we're headed.

Can't believe that non-call on PI. And irritated at Stein for getting cute. Whenever he gets cute it's always a disaster. WTF? Offense is working, just run it. Dude makes too much money to make video game decisions.

For the first quarter the players outplayed Ohio State but the coaches sorta ruined it. Lanning really failed the team not challenging Bassa’s pick and Stein’s playcalling was very poorly timed.

Naa guys, I'm going glass half full. Ohio State is not impressing me at all. They were supposed to be a Juggernaut, I'm not seeing it. They are not that good.

That’s a great way to put it. I just texted some friends that it feels like Stein had a random play generator that calls his play “Ask Madden” style, rather than analyzing momentum and what the team is doing well. There was no reason to risk giving up momentum after Stewart’s catch like that come out with formations like that.
