The more I think about it, the more I really am not fond of the steel. No, not because it looks bad, but because it's not one of our freaking colors.
This is the UofO and our colors are yellow and green, not green with steel and black with a hint of yellow.
I could really care less if the "kids like them", and I am not much of a traditionalist, but the lack of yellow really irks me.
Ugh, hopefully we get it right the next time around and last time I checked, kids don't come to a school b/c of "cool unis", then come for playing time, location, and a winning tradition.

White isn't one of our colors either, but we have to wear white for away games. White, black and gray all work as background colors, so in that way, I don't mind any of those being on our uniforms. That being said though, I do wish that the steel uniforms and pants had at least some yellow or green around the numbers or something.

But, I think these uniforms look great, so I am not complaining.

Haven't since the Joey days, they want to keep changing every 3 years, where's the incentive for me to buy a jersey when it'll be out of style as soon as you buy it?

Right, I don't mind those colors either, but not as the primary focus of the jersey. If no one had known UO's colors before and took a peak at those jerseys, they would say that Steel, Black, White, and Green are our colors with Yellow being an alternate.

I just don't see Oregon when I see those unis..we look like the damn Raiders in one of the combos.

There are things i do like. The "O" on the chest
The classic look of the pants (although bring back the oregon script)
A pretty simple jersey, would look so nice without the wings though, why must we always put something gaudy on the shoulder pads?

Nike totally ruined our Hoops unis and they are doing it to our football ones as well.

Am I making a bit too big a deal over this? Yea, prolly, but I'm tired of Nike making us look like asses, at least before we looked like asses in our own school colors.

I like them alright, but I really liked the dark green better and I'm not a fan of yellow at all. The white uni's look really good and the steel helmut is a MAJOR improvement over the cursed yellow ones.

I wish they'd change our school colors to green and black and ditch yellow completely. Yes, there are partly black ducks everywhere. Take a walk along the Willamette behind Dari-Mart on River Rd.

I pre ordered 3 uni's becuase I couldn't decide which one. So Green, Yellow, and white/green. $185 well spent.

so far only Blount and Masoli, wonder who else they'll make...most likely thurmond, idk about tukuafu though, they don't usually make lineman jersey's. They should've made one for Reed last year.
