I know most saw this coming for some time but it still stings, mainly because it dropped Oregon's team ranking from #11 to #16 on 247 Sports. It does feel as if Oregon got JC S Bennett Williams due to them thinking Avantae would likely never show up in Eugene.thomas time wrote:Avantae Williams has finally decommited

Ya we won’t be in the top 30 when we lose Wilson, Huston, and Slushergreenyellow wrote:I know most saw this coming for some time but it still stings, mainly because it dropped Oregon's team ranking from #11 to #16 on 247 Sports. We pulled DJ James, Brandon Dorlus and Jamal Hill with our leftover scholarships last year. Not the best, but I’m sure we have many contingency plans.

JHop is saying that CMC met with Avantae this week and Avantae told him he wasn't sure about signing early. CMC said he wants all commits to sign early.

Even if they lose the 6 commits that have been rumored to be wavering, they still only drop to like #20 at this point in the recruiting cycle. Considering they'd likely still get some replacements in the late signing period, the class would still likely get into the top 15.brich75 wrote:Ya we won’t be in the top 30 when we lose Wilson, Huston, and Slushergreenyellow wrote:I know most saw this coming for some time but it still stings, mainly because it dropped Oregon's team ranking from #11 to #16 on 247 Sports. I'm not nearly as plugged in as others here, but I'm totally not panicking. We're getting some great players coming in with other blue-chip recruits still in the fold. Plus, I have total faith in CMC's ability to get guys to round all this out.Even if they lose the 6 commits that have been rumored to be wavering, they still only drop to like #20 at this point in the recruiting cycle. Also, didn't I read somewhere that we've got some visitors this coming weekend? Anyone know who's coming? I'm expecting some flips our way.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

Does this mean he’s not going to decommit? Or that he’s simply not going to UCLA?Phenom wrote:Slusher is not going to UCLA according to Biggins

I never thought he was going anywhere else, tbh.

Re: Any guesses on the end of this class?
Jonny Wilson is 70/30 ASU lean
Slusher probably 51/49 Ducks
Huston - no one really knows
Also we have a secret visitor and 4* QB Robby Ashford visiting this weekend

Re: Any guesses on the end of this class?
Why is this staff so set on QBs who can't complete passes? Ashford passed for ~50% (actually slightly under) in both his junior and senior seasons. Hornsby wasn't a better option, either.lukeyrid13 wrote:Jonny Wilson is 70/30 ASU lean
