That piss poor clock management is on the coaches. They could have called one or more timeouts and did not.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 3:09 pm Moore’s decision making is very off today. He cost the team like 40 seconds, we had a chance to make a play for a TD but Stein and Moore ruined it.

12-7 going into the half and we get the ball to start the 2nd half.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 3:10 pm …..wait, did that go in? So what happens now? I’m not used to this….

It’s on both IMO. Moore needs to know throwing 3 yards in bounds in that situation is not better than an incomplete pass and stopping the clock.rodentslayer wrote:That piss poor clock management is on the coaches. I honestly did not expect Sappington to make the field goal. Great to see and a much better end to the half than it was looking like.

Those 3 points could be very big. Our opening drive of the 2nd half will be big.

Pretty sure nobody saw Oregon averaging over 5 more yards a carry in the run game and Iowa having the most explosive pass play in the first half.

Would be nice if we just went after Gronowski. His only real success has come when we sit back and give him time to throw.

You guys complain when they’re aggressive on 3rd and don’t settle for the FG, and then complain when they’re a bit more conservative to make sure they get a FG going into the half. There is no winning. Haha. Seemed clear they were trying to run clock and get points going into the half and try to score again coming out of the half.

I agree 100%. To me Moore is the #1 reason the Oregon offense didn’t score more points. Outside of the first series and that screen before the FG Stein has called a good game.droop10 wrote:You guys complain when they’re aggressive on 3rd and don’t settle for the FG, and then complain when they’re a bit more conservative to make sure they get a FG going into the half. Well that’s not what the offense needed to do to start the half.

Starting games and halves our offense just seems dead. Do we do any scripting?

Once again Dante just starred down his receiver allowing the Iowa DLineman to bat it down. He really seems shook.

I am not seeing we are physical enough to stop them. They are controlling the game, doing whatever they want to do

It’s early but Iowa completely flipped the script so far this second half.

Matayo clearly got held lol. They showed the replay 4 times lmao. These refs and announcers are clowns.
