Listening to the post game interviews, we went into the game expecting to win . . . like all we had to do is show up. Serna, Horton, and Pulfer all said we were flat and unfocused. They can't afford to take any games off like they did tonight. Really wasn't expecting that from them.
Kraus beat us last month at PK too and probably the last two years too. Pulfer and Horton said they knew exactly what to expect from him though and fell right into his trap.
Unless they go on some amazing run, maybe the best thing for them would be to sit and watch everyone else play in the post season. They just don't have the mental toughness to grind out wins. As much as it pains me to say this, the beavs were picked for 8th and I don't know who is going to beat them. Hitting, pitching or both . . .they just find ways to win.
