Re: Oregon Ducks Spring Game Thread (April 27)
Rob Moseley: Helfrich said there are several guys coming off surgeries, didn't want to label any of them completely out for spring drills.
Any idea who are they?
Also Helfrich said the competition to backup Marcus Mariota is ''absoulutely open'' between Jeff Lockie and Jake rodrigues.
Walk on TE Brian Teague will open the spring on the offensive line, where the Ducks have depth issue untill freshmen arrive.
and more off twitters,
Practices will include some unscripted situation in which scott frost will call plays. Staff will script some other periods. And They did that under Chip, with Helfrich calling plays but they will do more of it this spring, atleast.
Also, Huff tweeted a teaser to us ducks fan, ''The ducks had a ''Big surprise'' for fans come spring ball.
Anyone know what it is? ^^
Joe Walker will be the only newcomer on hand for spring drills. (bummer, was looking forward to more newcomers

More than likely.UOducksTK1 wrote:uniform surprise?
Also, read Josh Wilcox's Twitter account and saw that Kilkenny told him and his dad that they're naming one of the new practice fields "Wilcox Family Field." Kind of neat little nod to that family and their association with Oregon.

That helmet with all white would be so dope. Storm the spring game?

Other than both helmets having the same wing design on them, the helmet the Ducks wore against USC isn't even remotely similar.UofO8 wrote:Don't we kind of already have something similar to that? Helmet we wore at SC.

Well he said all white, so my immediate thought went to the SC helmets.gogreen55 wrote:Other than both helmets having the same wing design on them, the helmet the Ducks wore against USC isn't even remotely similar.UofO8 wrote:Don't we kind of already have something similar to that? I'm not sure where else to post this thought but, does anybody see our coaching staff going to any Eagles practices or other NFL practices with Chip making the move? I think so since it happens fairly frequently we just never hear about it.UOducksTK1 wrote:Practices start in a week!

I read somewhere last week somebody tweeting about the uniforms coming for the game, maybe B.J. Kelly, so probably is that.
