I'd be very surprised if DT transfers.

With him as the 2nd string QB, I doubt he'll redshirt.

He is listed as the backup to Masoli so he won't be redshirting and will get some playing time and will be a star at Oregon after Masoli

If Costa proves that he can sustain contact in Fall, you'd have to think he goes to #2.

Darron being on the two deep at this point doesn't mean much. If he were there after fall camp then it's doubtful that he would redshirt. I have to think that Chip is going to try to redshirt him if Costa is able to come back in even a backup capacity.

I'm sure Darron will travel with the team but I doubt he plays if Costa is healthy.

Padilla isn't even the backup place kicker. According to the two-deep depth chart, both Morgan Flint and Rob Beard are ahead of him. So, Padilla has two walk-on kickers ahead of him, one of which is a freshman. Plus, as you mentioned, the Ducks gave a scholarship to a highly touted incoming freshman kicker. I am surprised there hasn't been a mutual parting of ways between Padilla and the Ducks already.

Not to make this like educk, but don't run over here with rumors from the olive rag. Anyone who payed attention could have called AP, Roper and Harper where thinking about transferring. Most posters over there are all about stirring the pot and causing fights.

I would doubt Mathews is going to transfer after being cemented as the starting LB unless one of the other guys are close to taking his spot. But I doubt his family would put up with him transferring.

Yea buck the first person that came to mind with that latest rumor was Matthews but that doesnt make sense as he seemed to be the starter.

That wouldn't be Matthews. He was only a 3* coming out of HS.

When it comes to rumors from beaver trolls, they don't care about facts. Remember as far as os fans, and the oregonian are concerned, UO is made up of 4 and 5* while they are lunch pale 2-3* guys. OS doesn't like to here thaat most of our starters weren't highly recruited, it takes away from the little joy they have.

No doubt about that. They refuse to believe that we actually develop & send more 2*s to the NFL than we do 4 & 5*s. Riley's is the only coach to ever do that. Every other school in the nation is loaded with 5*s & the beevs are the only team in the history of sports to overrachieve....that little brother syndrom does crazy things to their heads.

Regarding the next transfer rumor: Until something solid comes out, not random message board trolls making stuff up, I won't believe there's another tranfer coming. If you're gonna take the time to make a thread about it, have something solid behind it. Don't bring crap from the comments section on Rob's blog.

If I'm not mistaken Masoli is a Junior and Thomas is a Sophomore.

Does Thomas really want to be a backup until his Senior year? He was a pretty good recruit, and I'm pretty sure he thinks that he should get more of a shot then he has gotten so far. He might be thinking that he would be better off at a school where he would get to start earlier...

Hmmmm, Costa is in Roper's shoes too. Have no clue whatsoever, but who knows anymore.
