I hate to say it, but 9-3. I think we lose the BSU game (though I'm about 60-40 at best on that) because of our o-line and how key that is to our offense. I think we lose to either Cal or OSU because our d-line won't be more than average unless someone really steps up and those are two teams that can run. I think we lose to USC because they're USC. I think the sky is the limit this year, what with a few VERY good playmakers and a very favorable Pac-10 schedule, but I think the lack of experience at our most important position, o-line, will hurt as pretty bad.

Fully 2/3 of you peeps think we will win at least 10 games. Serious homers here, lol! Personally, I think given all the things going against us, we'll be LUCKY to finish 8-4. I honestly think 2010 will be our year to make a serious run at 12-0. But then I remember losing to teams like San Jose St. by the score of 5-0 so I'm a little tempered in my expectations. And yes, I did go to the first game at Autzen and I am an old F**ker.
You all my be interested in this website, I find it particularly helpful. Historical College Football Schedule/Results.

I don't think 10-2 is a homer pick, but 12-0 certainly is. That's why polls like this aren't very realistic.

I said this before on a different thread. We will know how good our team is when we play Cal. If we are 4-1 after playing cal this will be a good year. I acutally think despite their running game.. I think we will find a way to beat Cal. More because after them ebating us last few years we will find a way to beat them. If we lose to Cal.. then obviously we will lose to USC as well and possibly OSU. I think the Cal game will be the most ciritical in determining where this team will go.

Majority have picked 11-1 or 10-2. If we play up to our potential, neither of those records are out of reach.
*BTW I had a dream last night we were losing to Boise State and struggled to move the football. Excellent sign, my dreams rarely come true.

Oh, contrare. It shows exactly what it shows. We as a group are very optimistic about this years team...

How is 10-2 a homer pick?...Please show me the more than two losses without this team completely falling apart?

10-2 is a lot more realistic. I thought only fans of teams like Ohio State and Tennessee pick their teams to go undefeated every year.

Or Notre Dame. Oh wait that's just Lou Holtz

Losing to BSU, USC, and Cal = completely falling apart?

I'd say losing to BSU wouldn't be falling apart but instead never putting it together. We all need to realize BSU is a mediocre team that benefited greatly from an injury last year. People can say that I'm making excuses but this team was NOT together for 3 quarters last year and we will be this year.
