Alamo Bowl to be new Pac-10 number two bowl

I wish there was a bowl game where the SEC and Pac-10 got to battle yearly.

That should be the Rose Bowl matchups. Not shitty-ass Big 10 teams.

"Alamo Bowl" sounds like a schwag bowl, doesnt seem to have the cache that a 2nd place BCS conf team deserves...... "Holiday Bowl" has a good ring to it IMO. Plus its outside, in San Diego. It will take me a while to get used to the AB being more prestigious than the HB. As a fan I would spend time/money to go to SD for a bowl game (and have), but San Antonio? Not a chance....

But I guess its all good for national exposure, recruiting in TX and east... bla bla bla.

The Holiday bowl is a perfect #2 the bowl has been known for its great
games and high scoring. It is also IMO a great day and time slot. Who
on here really thinks the Alamo bowl is a better venue than the Holiday
bowl. Warm, outside and a great city.

Well one things for sure, beevur fans everywhere are rejoicing. They finally have a chance at a bowl better than the Sun! LOL.

Only thing better about the Alamo is a better pay out. Something like 3 mil, compared to the 2.3 that the Holiday has.

Still like the Holiday way better though.
