irvin looked great, peterson looked strong but was pulled after five due to pitch count, and krook looked rusty. he had his power stuff, but he got wild. not unforgivable in his first start in nearly two years.

had to bring nogo out for the 8th twice. the search for a competent 8th inning guy will continue into next weekend.

we hit the righties well, but struggled against their two lefty starters. we have a lefty-dominated lineup. horton thought we could overcome it, but we definitely didn't hit well.

BUT a sweep is a sweep!
