Time to move on!!!!!! Coaches were gracious enough too allow him to remain on team and keep scholie, so if he doesn't take advantage of that then see ya Mr. Blount and goodluck.

I truly hope it can....And I hope we win while he's suspended that way it's not like we're lifting the suspension cause we need him

He wasn't suspended the entire season just because he punched Hout. It's because it continued until he reached the locker room, that he hit teammates, fought against coaches and security, and rushed the fans. Aaron Brooks did nothing of the sort.

The season long suspension does sort of make sense now. I figure he basically got suspended for 12 games, if we're including a bowl game, which works out to 4 games for each of the 3 parts to the incident. The first 4 games are due to the punch to Hout's face. The second 4 games are due to the punch/shove he did to Embry. The last 4 games are for the charging of the fans and subsequent restraining having to be done by the coaches and teammates. You have to think that if he had done any of the parts separately, he would have been suspended for about 3-4 games.

Let's also keep in mind that this isn't the first time he's been in trouble...he's already been suspended once this winter and had the issue in the first few days of practice. IMO this is strikes 3, 4 and 5 and that's why he's gone for the year.

Blount's a great player and I wish things were different, but this is NOT an isolated incident so the punishment was severe.

first off blount's actions were way different than AB. Brooks WAS provoked much more than blount, although both situations were unacceptable, If blount had been done after he threw the punch and didn't try to keep fighting he would be back on this team is a few weeks. I think the punches to the Oregon players really took him over the edge.

About him not at practice, I think he needs to take a few days off. Right now blount will do no good for this team at practice. I say keep him out for a week then let him work his way into the scout team.

But blount's punishment fits the crime.
