We should remember, this kid wasn't the only one that bought into Willie's smoke and mirrors. Maybe give him a slight break methinks.

Smoke and Mirrors?
It was more like, "Don't Look Behind The Curtain!"
Hard to believe that WT has managed to slip in and out of as many institutions of higher learning as he has, relatively unscathed, in such a short period of time.
It's amazing there isn't a large contingent of ADs chasing him through the Everglades wearing snake boots!

I don't hate the kid... It's a comment on the social atmosphere surrounding recruiting in general.
"Social Media" may be the single most egregious contributor to "hate" of all time. It gives anonymity to people who probably would never say or do things face to face that they openly do 'behind the mask' on line.

I couldn’t agree more! While social media has a positive function it is also a source of evil actions and a venue for internet cowboys to express themselves with little or no consequences. I don’t like it

Soooooo, is this all just us speculating on a kid that may not even be interested in coming here? Or is there actually some solid evidence that he is interested in Oregon beside the fact that we thought maybe we were his leader 2 years ago?

Just speculation.
As opposed to Justin Shorter, former 5 star WR reached out to Oregon but supposedly we turned him away.
