This is interesting stuff. I too have been reading Baron's reports and it's great to be getting stuff so hot off the press.

In regards to mom and the distance thing we need to see what the final update from Baron is after the Clemson in-home. That is either tonight or Friday night (I think it's tomorrow). The concern is Clemson could slide right in there and be that "perfect alternative". They can offer early p.t. (at least as early as we can) and there's no distance negative. Mom did go on that trip, so she's very familiar with them. If she pushes hard for Clemson, Tajh and dad could go along to end up with a united decision. Keep in mind, though Baron still says we're about 75% and we're Tajh's #1 and the dad is basically on board, etc. he reminds in his posts that nothing is final and with recruiting, anything can happen.

I'm in the camp that believes he'll be a Duck, but how mom views Clemson after their visit is the key. If they win her over then it's time to be concerned.

We all know that women have the final say!!!! In terms of playing time, he would probably get it sooner at Clemson and maybe even Ohio State.

Depth chart is a non-issue at this point. It is primarily if not all distance with mom at this point.

So if we do get Boyd, do you think it will affect the decision of other recruits? Of course there is Brown, but what about others?

If he's a 75% Oregon lean right now, then Clemson and OSU split the remaining 25% chance in some way or another. I just can't invision an in home visit making up that much ground. Especially since it's 75% Oregon following the Clemson visit. What can they possibly say that they didn't on the trip?

Dunno NCDUCK, and besides that Swinney won't be there if I recall correctly. Just assistants.

Don't forget that DABO F'ING SWINNEY is close personal friends with the big man upstairs. I am not sure if it is a recruiting violation or not, but you can bet your ass that DABO F'ING SWINNEY brought Geez with him for the in home. If anyone is capable of bridging that gap it would have to be Geez and his love for the Clemson Tigers.

So Geez himself has to come down from Heaven and say, Thou shalt not attend Oregon? Huh, okay. He's a duck.

Is that really necessary? So what if the members of their coaching staff happen to be Christians? Personally, I think you're way out of line. You show zero consideration for the kids, their families, GOD or any other members of this forum. This is the type of opinion that should be kept to yourself.

Oh, and I personally don't care if you like me or not!

I make my living on the internet and I'm a member of several forums online, both paid and free, I've never seen such vulgar disrespect anywhere as I have here. The "moderator's" seem to stay on break and let this go on and on.

Mops, you have the opportunity to do great things with this forum, but it will NEVER become a professional entity online as long as you allow this type of behavior.

What's next guys? Evidently, bashing Christians is okay, are Negros, Jews, Hispanics, Women, etc on the agenda?

I'm MAD AS #$@&^!!! But I'm going to step back, chill out and pray for the offenders instead of letting it out here.

By the way, I don't own a high horse, but I do know the difference between right and wrong.

I think the golden rule of proper dinner conversation should apply here as well: 3 things you don't talk about are religion, politics and sex.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't intending to be vulgar. Please remember that Bryce McNeal chose Clemson because there are more christian coaches on staff than at Oregon.

Anyway, he didn't say anything anti-religion or anything at all. You may be reading a little too much into his comment. Let's all chill a little. It don't need to go any further.

To me that post would only have been vulgar or anti-religion had Dabo Sweeny actually been some sort of deity. Which is obviously not the case.

Chill please.
