He's expected to commit to K. State. Wouldn't rule anything out, but I think the Ducks feel really confident they are getting Moore, so they aren't pushing super hard on Johnson.

Nothing about his throwing style reminds me of DT. He has much better mechanics already as a HS Sr than DT ever had. Again not a knock on anyone, I liked DT, but I don’t see the comp.

Yea, Im not comparing throwing mechanics. I'm comparing strengths and weaknesses (vision, playmaking, arm strength, accuracy). DT was a very competent college quarterback who won a lot of big games, though the game was rarely on his shoulders. I think Moore will be that kind of player.

DT had a lot of holes in his game, but one thing he always was willing to do was stay in the pocket and take a hit. He was a rare college QB who didnt get rattled by pressure or being knocked down.

I always liked Thomas. His arm strength was average, his accuracy wasn't the best but always seemed improve as the game went along, and his decision making was superb. He was the kind of player who didn't have the best skill set, but had the brain to make up for it.

Avery Johnson is headed to KSU which basically mean Moore is the last remaining QB on their board available.

Johnson sounds like he would have gone to Oregon had it not felt like they were all-in on Moore. Guess we'll see if that bet works out for them.
