Which could be the same scenario playing out with Dowdell and Limar.StevensTechU wrote:Going to respond to these but leave out quoting for time's sake.
No insider info, just reading tea leaves. Sadly, this is my... 11th year following recruiting? When you see unexpected movement, like new offers or last-minute visits with recruits who weren't really on the radar, it means your team missed on someone else. So when Oregon planned a sudden visit with Davis, you look around and see who they may be not getting, and Presley seems like the likely candidate.
To them playing different positions - this coaching staff has said they view DBs are interchangeable. I don't like that view, personally, but that's their view when recruiting.
Presley could have silent committed on the uw visit, and is waiting around for some video or other production to be made. If the Davis/Presley recruitments are connected, it would imply that our staff already knows Presley ain't coming.
This could all just be messageboard fodder, but we'll see.

What happened here?
Caleb was committed for quite a while and there's a clear need for corners, so early playing time is definitely on the table. We're sending a DB to the NFL, likely Top 15 pick. Proven DB coach.
Did he get pressure from family to stay close to home? Did UW up the NIL?

A little of everything unfortunately. Oregon is still after Pleasant and Austin (who both won't sign until February) but losing out on Presley sucks because the window for recruiting heavily in WA looks to be diminishing with UW on the rise again.DmoneyDuck wrote:What happened here?

Seems like a case of a kid who always wanted to stay home but the home team wasn’t good enough. UW is seemingly back on track and so was automatically back at the top for him.
Same goes for the LB from Colorado. Really good chance he flips to the Buffs now that they have Deion.

Purchase is looking at decommitting? Ducks are barely going to hang onto a top-15 class.dthomas=ddixon wrote:Seems like a case of a kid who always wanted to stay home but the home team wasn’t good enough. UW is seemingly back on track and so was automatically back at the top for him.

Nothing concrete but he visited CU and there’s some smoke there. As we’re already seeing, usually doesn’t end well for us.greenyellow wrote:Purchase is looking at decommitting?
