Cancel the game and ducks advance due to tie breaker rules.

Standby to standby. This could be a long rain delay

I don’t know baseball rules all that well, is there a certain point where they have to cancel the game? Like is there a max amount of time a game can be delayed?

Rain is forecasted to last until 9:30 PM CT. Given a three hour game, it likely wouldn't end until past midnight and then the winner would have to play at 2 PM CT. Horrible planning by the Big Ten to have USC/UW as the opening game today.

So now Oregon has to play early tomorrow and then again in the afternoon. F*** the Big Ten and their scheduling nonsense.

Oregon getting screwed over for being the top seed in a postseason tournament? Where have we seen that before?

We’re gonna lose and it’s not even our faults. Not generally an excuse guy but everything is going against us.
Pathetic

I know Was isn’t this type but those that run this tournament need to be called out.

Big Ten wanted a big crowd for the Nebraska/Oregon game so scheduled it late even knowing the weather forecast. Oregon has looked out of sorts after spending hours waiting last night for a game the Big Ten likely knew wasn't being played and forced into an abnormal start time. Absolute clownshow and home cooking.

Theres really never a benefit to top seeds to even play in post season league tournaments.

Ducks exit with a 7-3 loss. Great scheduling for the top seed, Big Ten.

4 errors? Yikes. I hope whoever made the scheduling is identified and publicly shamed.

Sorry, guys, it was my fault. I said to whoever listens to my thoughts that if the Ducks win the softball game last night, I don't care if we lose the baseball game today. Worth it.

I don’t understand the fuss about this. Nebraska had to deal with the exact same conditions as the Ducks, albeit slightly earlier on the internal clock for the Ducks this morning. Abnormal start time for everyone. Maybe there would be an excuse for game 2 of the day, but in this game both teams were impacted in some respect. I don’t follow college baseball closely, because I can’t get beyond the aluminum bats and already watch MLB every day, but I’d be surprised if their seeding was super impacted by this tournament. Baseball isn’t a sport meant to determine the better team in one game, and I don’t think 1 random game will have much impact. But again, I don’t follow the NCAA super closely, so maybe they would randomly put weight on winning a random single elimination tournament in a bad conference.
