Meh frustrated to see that the ducks couldn’t get Hellman home after the lead off single and he made it to third. Seems like Walsh, Smith, and Aroz were chasing some bad pitches.

Reitz has overcome that bad 3rd inning and is dealing, with 13 Ks so far. Offense has to get it going.

Waz and Hawksworth sometimes ride a pitcher way too long and this was another one that might bite them.

Oregon's hitters can't help but swing at the high heaters from UVU's reliever. Awful plate appearances from them as it's clear they're trying to get all the runs back at once.

I was just telling my wife after the last inning that it felt like Oregon was watching the first pitch no matter what and it was almost always right down the middle; and being down on the count led to Oregon chasing bad pitches. I wonder if Drew Smith noticed and was ready to swing on the first pitch.
