Bullpen is blowing it in the 8th as they've given up 5 runs on an RBI single and three RBI bases loaded walks/HBPs.
A tale as old as time. I know featherston threw a little bit yesterday, but I’m not sure why we don’t put him or another one of the more proven pitchers we have in that position to close the game out.

Oregon drops their first game of the year after the bullpen gave up 5 runs in the 8th inning.

I don’t watch a ton of college baseball, how normal is it to see quality team with a bullpen that has a tendency to absolutely throw games? I’m holding out hope that this year will be better, but it’s weird that so many times we see a bullpen where nobody has control over the ball and they’re literally throwing games.

Ducks were setup to be 10-0 to start the season.
Oh well. Hopefully we can beat Vandy tomorrow.

Oregon holds on for the 6-4 win over Vanderbilt. Bullpen still needs a lot of work. Ducks finish the weekend 2-1. Up next is a Tuesday home game against the Beavers.
