Article in the paper said that Thornton is the most equipped to come back for the end of the weekend and be available to pitch.

Thorton is just hanging in there. Not really wowing the Huskies.

We are getting hits, but just not capitalizing with runners on base. Uconn has only one more hit then us, but they're getting runs.

Don't like that way of thinking. To me, you want to win that first game. Wish Anderson was pitching this game.

I completely agree, although Thornton has been good enough so far. It's the offense that needs to get going.

Barely escaped that inning without allowing a run. KC did a good job holding the runner at third which allowed Zack some breathing room on that last batter.
