I can’t think of many QBs Ohio st has produced that are stars in the nfl.

True. I think Art Schlister was the best of the bunch, with an honorable mention going to Troy Smith. Justin Fields could stand out but being drafted by the Bears may ruin him before it's over.

Hicks has officially signed with A&M, so that puts an end to the Early Signing Day period for the Ducks.

Hicks goes to TAMU which leaves us looking at Ashton Porter as another possible target.

As has been discussed before, relationship building with recruits you don't land out of high school will help should they decide to enter the Portal. It's also why negative-recruiting tactics aren't helpful long-term; build and focus on your program.

Porter most likely signed with us and wanted to safe his announcement at the all-star game. Same goes for Jamari Johnson.

Rodrick Pleasant is by far the most important recruit left. He posted yesterday that he'd sign on February 6th, but has since deleted that tweet.

You mean coaches shouldn’t act like Iowa coaches and hang up on 5* Proctor?

And Duce Robinson is still a target.
