Game ball goes to whoever it was that picked up the ball when Whittington dropped the ball early.

What nonsense is this? he was 18 for 21, and made several downfield passes earlier. That last one was missed because the receiver stumbled when turning for the ball. You armchair quarterbacks couldn't hit brick wall from 3 feet away, but make comments like thisQuackininBama wrote: Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:23 pm Well I think we are seeing what the coaching staff saw all offseason. Gabriel is not a very good downfield passer.
It was Strother, Poncho, Harper until the last timeoutOregonFan4Life wrote:Also I wasn’t 100% sure but looked like Poncho was the C on the last drive, can anyone else confirm?

Exactly. He didn’t throw a pass for about 15 game minutes after the Herbert fumble and barely missed a couple shots. The amount of DG trash talk is insane in here and the twitters.squintsdd wrote:What nonsense is this? he was 18 for 21, and made several downfield passes earlier. Yes, I think most of their successful drives came with the lineup that had Poncho at center. Still confused as to why they wouldn’t stick with it, especially as they were clearly most confident that unit since they were in last drive. Just need to survive until Bedford and Iuli are back. I think just getting Pickard out of the lineup will help the offense significantly.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:46 pm Also I wasn’t 100% sure but looked like Poncho was the C on the last drive, can anyone else confirm?
Another was missed because the recvr was checked at the line and that was the difference.squintsdd wrote: Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:49 pmWhat nonsense is this? he was 18 for 21, and made several downfield passes earlier. First off, what names were called? Armchair quarterback? If that's offensive than my god your skin is softer than a newborn baby.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Sep 07, 2024 10:55 pm First off why name calling and hostility? We are all duck fans and ducks won. Show your support for Gabriel another way.
I said Gabriel isn’t the problem, sadly Pickard was, and going forward with him not playing C and Poncho playing C with someone else at guard is what this team needs to do going forward. I just think Moore will end up better. BUT I hope I’m wrong! I texted friends Boise State was going to win tonight and I couldn’t be happier that I was wrong! I’ll be a duck fan the day until I die no matter how the team is performing.
