Makes me wonder if anybody has watched film on the Ducks at all. Shouldn't they know that?
It sounds to me like we can expect a confused officiating crew that will have more influence on the game than we would like. I hope they just come out and do their job and not worry about keeping Chizik and the SEC happy.

That comment about talking to the officials reminds me of several threads that popped up on PAC forums over the course of the season complaining about how it was almost cheating for Oregon to use the hurry up no huddle to wear down teams and gain an advantage... I think it was a PureOrange poster who suggested changing the rules to remove this obvious loop hple.

GameDay reporter said it on air a little bit ago on TV (I'll try to find the video) & here was the transcript of the media with Chip today -Question #4.

I suppose that Chizik is a bit skeptical of how the Big 10 is going to attempt to pace the game. PAC-10 crew may run things differently.
I don't think he's being sketchy about it, he's just making sure that the Big 10 idiots know what they're doing. They've screwed up 2 bowl games already, I don't think either coach wants them to mess up another.
Remember, Auburn runs a high paced no huddle offense too, so this would bode well for Oregon as well in the long run. The Big 10 doesn't care much for the SEC, and rightfully so. He may be making sure that they don't use their own bias to lean the game one way or another.
Making sure officials are clear on the rules is not necessarily a bad thing. Especially after what the Big 10 crews have done so far.

Today is the day!!
Totally pumped out of my mind right now... Skipping all 3 classes today, skipping work, watched my packers win today, got the whole day to watch some Ducks in the natty! Wish I could be at the game, but I don't mind rooting for home.

If Chizik talks to the officials about this "concern" that is one thing, but to state it publicly to the media tells me another: He's scared.
