How does free agency work? Do we get a list of free agents like we did draft picks or is it a educated guess?

There's already one on the main DASL page under the "Season" tab.

All GMs send me bids. You have 8,705,864 cap space. Meaning you can offer up to that much on ANY free agents.
Only player you have birds on is Jerry Reynolds. But anyway, you probably want to worry more about your cap space and getting someone good first, before worrying about Reynolds.

Re: Questions Thread
Would it be possible for everyone to have a avatar or signature of the team they are controlling? I think it would be easier when an owner PM's you and you cant figure out which team it is. Instead of having to look up on the owner thread, we can just see from the avatar or signature picture. Maybe I am the only one with this problem

Re: Questions Thread
Do players get fatigued if they're playing too many minutes? For example, I added Xavier McDaniel and kept my starting 3, McKey, from last year so I have a good backup now. X is getting 37 minutes a game and McKey is only playing 12. My real world reaction would be to take advantage of having a capable backup and arrange my depth chart in a way that assures McKey getting closer to 20 minutes a game. But in the sim world it seems like you would want a guy like X, who is significantly better than McKey, to get as many minutes as possible. Even if it means his backup never playing.

You're not, I'm usually at work when most everything goes down so I printed a spreadsheet to help me out, it does get a bit confusing . I also suggest when messaging someone sending them a link to your team page could also help too.Oregon Ownage wrote:Would it be possible for everyone to have a avatar or signature of the team they are controlling? However, I did add titles under each GM's profiles. So might not be as obvious as an avatar, but hopefully that helps.

For the Live Draft, do I just send a list of players that I want to whoever I'm supposed to send it to?

Re: Questions Thread
Hey guys. I was looking at the FA list and was wondering how I would know what a good offer is to that player? I'm not sure how to gauge what a player is worth. Is there like a place that shows his contract or salary history or something? For a new GM it would help to familiarize myself with how money is spent.

I would suggest messaging myself or uoduckstk1 about players and what a fair offer would be for certain players.pistolpetejr wrote:Hey guys. As a rule of thumb though, don't offer multi year contracts to role players

Re: Questions Thread
I think my post got lost but will the salary cap be increasing in the coming years?
