Everything just seems really quiet on this one, hard to get a read on what exactly is going on. I think we’ll have to pay attention to recruiting to see if the staff starts communicating with another HS or portal QB

Seems to be some speculation that Donte will visit tOSU this coming weekend. This does not bode well from my point of view.

Let him take his visits and make sure he's making the right choice. He could sign with Oregon, get unhappy/homesick, and leave after a year anyway. It may not work out at OSU, UCLA, etc either and he may want to come to Oregon after a year.
He could be working the NIL, too, just to see if there's more out there.
As I said before, I'm not gonna' stress on what some young kid does. I hope he comes to Oregon and becomes a star, but it may not workout that way.

2 thoughts. Dilly leaving is a big deal to him and he's looking around. OR perhaps rumors of Nix staying is also causing him to look around.

Now rumors are Moore will be in Eugene this weekend along with Phil Knight and Ohio State is after Washington commit Lincoln Kienholz.

My guess:
- Bo is returning; Moore does not want to sit a year
Let's see if the full-court press works by the Ducks and they can sell him on waiting a year before leading the charge (worked for Marcus!)

JHop has said that isn’t the issue. It’s mainly due to his closest relationship, Dilly, bailing. His commitment had a lot to do with Dilly and the Ducks are kind of having to rerecruit him.

Sheet to all of this. It’s most likely going to come down to NIL money, and leveraging that money. Relationships are great, but it’s a new world.

I dunno, if Dillingham leaving is what prompted this, maybe relationships are the key thing for this kid?

It’s a bidding war, and will continue until the ink is on the paper.

Relationships are important but even if you re coming from a middle class household, that +5 mln NIL is going to be a top priority. If another school can top that by a few mln, you def try to squeeze.
I think families are smart enough to see how many 5star qbs flame out or get career altering injuries. Its smart for them to take the amount of NIL schools are willing to shell out for top qbs nowadays.

I can understand how he must feel. Still, I would hope that the coaches have been pitching the "commit to the school, not the coach" angle. Coaches come and go just like players do now. Sad, but true.
I'll say that if he chooses to sign with Ohio State, he'll likely have more competition there than he would at Oregon.
