Why did we pass on third down? Just run twice. They weren't stopping s***. I'm so sick of Stein out thinking himself.
I guess it was a QB run... But still, why not just hand it to Davidson. Our RBs are killing it.

If Dan had faked the punt they would have called a penalty on Oregon regardless.

GDuck wrote:Did not like the 3rd down play call there with a run by Moore to the edge. Just asking for a holding call here and Moore running isn’t 100%.
Stein has what I call his “comfort” plays that he goes to in big situations and we saw it right there.
But there needs to be an investigation into these officials 100%.

Anyone wanna take a guess at how many penalty yards Iowa has so far?
Imagine being so fundamentally sound as a team that you can run pick plays and hold all game without committing a single penalty.

Holding holding and more holding. This is unbelievable.

That 3rd down collapse may be what costs Oregon the game. Yards don’t mean crap if you can’t do anything with it. If Iowa wins this it will 100% be on the offense even wit that 3rd down conversion.

Bear Alexander has a magic jersey apparently that floats away from his body and shoulder pads without being held onto...

We are couging it on defense. When the Iowa passing offense outshines us we deserve to lose. Lanning needs to take a good long look at his coaching staff.

Never thought I'd see an Iowa team that's more effective passing the ball than Oregon. Brutal.

Lapses on defense at the worst time.

Deserve to lose, the team looks like they gave up, slow and no energy

Defense can only hold on so long. The offenses lack of execution has made what should be a blow out come down to the wire.
