I’d consider trying Dante if Dillon continues to have issues

Disagree. This performance by our D is as piss poor as any game I can remember (maybe the Oregon State game Lanning’s first year rivals this?). Oregon has the horses to slow OSU’s offense. Much worse teams have consistently made OSU’s offense look mediocre. We don’t even belong on the field today. I’d love an analysis from someone smarter than me after the game about what we tried to take away from OSU and how. I’m seeing Oregon outnumbered (and outplayed) on the LOS, around the edges, and downfield.

Not sure what you are disagreeing about. This game or not being disappointed about losing Stein? Oregon defense against PSU wasn’t very good.

As far as the season goes, I think the defense has been slightly stronger but I think the offense has better players so why I think Stein has not performed up to where I would expect.

Part of the concern or confusion is it isn’t like Ohio state is scoring man on man, they have 3 long easy touchdowns where multiple players on Oregon were lost and confused. That’s just weird to see after 30 days of prep.

Hard to blame Tosh, when you know Lanning is all over the D room.

Just that I’m far more disappointed in the D.

Nope, you just said it (in my opinion), 30 days off is LITERALLY 20 days to many. Football teams play their best when they are consistent. We sat around for a month doing nothing, and we paid for it

We’re down Stewart and Johnson is hobbled. Big ask of Holden and Co. to fill that void.

OK time to be a crazy fool but that last series with how well Ohio State predicted the playcalling felt like some Connor Stallions crap. If there is a coach desperate enough to try spying it’s Ryan Day.
