Which is a shame because I think that logo has some real charm for lack of a better term.

Why would the Ducks want to use the well known & respected DTO emblem on a throwback uni? maybe they could use the Duck on a moter cycle driving thru the "O"

spacefrog thanks for the info! Great news!

I think a throw back jersey should be a real old version like the 58 Rose Bowl ones becasue any of the newer ones would just add to the "Ducks have no history" BS!

I'd like either Rose Bowl jersey bu the older the better...

GO DUCKS!!

How about the uniforms the ducks wore when they first started playing football? Now that would be something.

"Webfoot Football", aka. 1917 Rose Bowl Team:

Take that "Win a Rose Bowl" comment and put it where the sun don't shine!
14-0, Baby!

That Duck team, coached by Hugo Bezdek, must have played defense... They had 5 wins and 1 tie, with no losses. (That included a 97-0 win over Willamette University, and a 0-0 tie with Washington, whom the Ducks beat out for the Rose Bowl by virtue of their margin of victory over Cal.)

The Pennsylvania team Oregon beat was heavily favored.

If we do indeed bust out some throwbacks this year, I hope we wear these:

Nothing against those. But, are they far back enough to be considered throwbacks?
