Even in the BSU game, drops were an issue. Hope that's cleared up this season.

Me thinks that giving Chip Kelly eight months to prepare for this game will also work to our advantage.

I do think Oregon would have won the game with Masoli but the whole thing is irreleven since it is the past. It is like saying we would have won the BCS with Dixon healthy. Both are true but both irrelevent since that did not happen and is frivolous to dwell on it. I also think Allioti or as I call him Allow A Lot E is a liability but Kelly has decided to retain him and think this will have to be the year he shines or will be shown the door. As I said earlier Boise State is a good team.. they will end up in the top 15 this year possibly the top 10. We MUST show up and play a good game. Injuries are a part of the game and that guy that made the dirty hit should have been tossed..I think the refs well aware they will have to take early control of the game and not allow things like that to happen again.

I agree. It's nothing to dwell on for it's own sake and it's not an argument meant to diminish how well BSU played. They did play above expectations and deserve credit for that game.

I think the reason that it is relevant though is that we are playing them again soon. So, that game represents the best evidence we have to draw guestimates from. And one only has to look at the sheer number and number of types of football rankings there are to see how much fans like to guestimate.
