Great win for the Ducks. The announcers were pretty good, not SEC Homers, one of them was Daniele Lawrie, who also shows up on Pac-12N broadcasts, used to pitch for UW. She was impressed with Dale's composure, and how the team has come together so well.

WOW, I did not see that happening at all. It seems the wagons have been circled, might end up being a team with fire and us against the world attitude after all.
Great win!

This team will score runs. Pitching is still big weakness. Bowden is really becoming good at catcher and will only get better. Her pick off throws were great and she had one in a previous game. Not sure if all the pass balls were her fault. Balint would have had the catcher she wanted. Lombardi is a pitching coach. If she can get these pitchers to settle down this team will be good. We noticed that Lombardi and the team had tears in their eyes at the end. They really are bonded. Like Dail said in an interview, they play the game and take the wins and the losses as they come(not an exact quote). Win or lose you have to love this team.

Awesome to watch those highlights and see that LSU tied up with a HR but the Ladies still kept fighting to get the W.

Didn't one of our pitchers specifically leave because of catcher play? Just saying, Bowden looked pretty good in those highlights.

Balint basically tried to say that Lombardi lied about having transfer C McGowan eligible but it appears more that ML was under the impression ASU would grant the in-conference transfer waiver and McGowan would be eligible immediately but ASU reneged on the deal. At that point, it just seems like Balint was looking for any excuse to justify her transfer.

What do you think of Texas vs Ducks in the world series? I don't think we can do it, but I would love to see it.

It would need to be in the Regional; Texas will choke before the WCWS.

Balint seemed to me to be a me, me, me type of individual and a bit of a head case. Great win for these ladies! I agree, they seem to have circled the wagons and have an us vs the world mentality. Gotta love their piss and vinegar...
