Re: Michael Clay
If we get Clay as well, this would have to be our best LB class ever wouldn't it? I can't remember ever landing 3 guys as highly rated as these guys in the same class. I admit my memory doesn't go back too far though.....

Mine goes back a little ways...................1970 and I don't think we have signed three linebackers like this if we get Clay. That being said. We have signed less noticed players that penciled out well. Remember the 94 season. Two Oregon high school backers lead the GANG GREEN D as well as COTA from Ashland Oregon at Safety. But rankings wise and talent coming out of high school and can't remember a better group.

I must say an underrated player a number of years ago wouldn't be today because of recruiting/recruiting services and players themselves making them selves know to everyone has changed the landscape of recruiting and is a lot harder to find the hidden diamonds...

Asher was from Tigard and I'm pretty sure Howington wasn't on the team during the Rose Bowl season.scaredhitless08 wrote:Ruhl, Asher, Cota and Howington on the oline.. 2 from Ashland and 2 from Roseburg, boy are times a changin'jasnwip wrote:Mine goes back a little ways...................1970 and I don't think we have signed three linebackers like this if we get Clay.
